Sorry for being a bum and waiting until now to get this info out to you all. Ended up enjoying my break a bit more than I had expected to :) At any rate...
Rehearsals for the month of January are on the calendar at the bottom of this page and will be scheduled according to pages in the book. Please be aware that you are expected to be at rehearsals if you are scheduled. If you have a conflict, talk to me....I'm not that mean of a guy, but seriously, touch base with me for any conflicts.
On the 9th of January, I have Thursday Night School, so I will be out at the school all evening. I am scheduling individual lessons for this date. I am taking the middle schoolers first as they do not have as easy access to transportation as the high schoolers. Please find your slot and plan to be in the music room for your practice
2:30-3:00 - Zach Wheeler
3:00-3:30 - Dany Bailey
3:30-4:00 - Addie Legge, Jordan Boldman, Brett Muncy, Meg Bostick
4:00-4:30 - Hannah Kilbride, Leanna Russell, Jacki Vermillion, Lily King & Mary Hasting
4:30-5:00 - Hunter Judy
5:00-5:30 - Garrett Nott & Ashley Dunham
5:30-6:00 - Zack Moore
6:00-6:30 - Blair Culp
6:30-7:00 - Nate Reinhardt
You are expected to have your songs memorized by January 30th. This will make the blocking on stage much easier and you won't have to stress about it a few weeks from this date. If you haven't yet, please bring me a flash drive to get the songs transferred over for you to use for practice.
Again, please look over the schedule for January. Please make arrangements to be at the rehearsals you are scheduled for. If you aren't scheduled, you don't need to show up. February and March will be up by end of next week.
Rehearsal notes PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Seussical Casting Announcement
We really enjoyed listening to everyone audition for this years production. We had many positive surprises and many great new additions to the group. Keep in mind for this show, if you did not get the role you auditioned for, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to shine on the stage as various members of groups/chorus throughout the show. Do not be discouraged, we had several of you audition for the same role, and we could only pick one. Please try to think positive to help us produce the best show yet in our brief history! We put a lot of thought as a group into the casting of each and every role.

These will be vocal rehearsals and will be geared toward the chorus groups for December 10 and 12 from 2:45-4:00. Please plan on attending both of these rehearsals. On the 17th and 19th of December, there will be rehearsals for the solo characters only. December 17th will be Gertrude and Mayzie. December 19th will be Horton, Jojo, and Cat in the Hat. Upcoming announcement
We will announce the cast list on November 22 at 4pm on this site. Please make certain to read the whole posting as it has information about the upcoming rehearsals slated for December.
At the bottom of the main page, there is a Google Calendar app. This will be your one stop location for the rehearsal schedule as the show progresses. We will start light in December and half of January and start to pick it up in February and March. Plan on the week of the play to be very busy as we try to finalize problem areas and do some run throughs.
Great job to everybody that came out to participate in auditions. While I know not everyone is going to be happy with what roles were assigned to them, be assured that there was lots of deliberation between all 4 judges and not one person made the call on any specific role. Roles were cast based on a number of different criteria and seniority is at the bottom of that list. We've always worked that way and will continue to do so for the years to come :)

Stuff to know
First, if there's no school, there's no practice. Good to know for snow days and the like.
B. February and March schedules are up on the calendar. Please make arrangements for your scenes
Third, please be aware that act 2 has 4 scenes. Everybody seems to be confused by this. Scene 4 happens at the blackout on page 76.
D. If you haven't yet, look TRIAD DRAMA DEPARTMENT up on Facebook. Join the group, it is a closed group so i'll need to approve you...this is our quickest, most convenient form of communication.
Let me know if anybody has any further questions.

Rehearsals
While our first couple rehearsals went very well, the opposite can be said for the last several. Folks, you need to be aware of practices. We put the practice schedule in the calendar and give you ample opportunity to arrange to be there. There is rarely, if ever, an acceptable excuse for missing with being given so much time to plan. These practices are not sprung on you last second. Be responsible for your schedules and show up when you are expected. Nuff said...for now
