Rehearsals

Thank you for a fantastic first rehearsal. Just a few things

1. Bring a flash drive to receive the music files so that you can practice at home on your own. I would like all of the music to be learned as soon as possible so that we can move on to the choreography

2. Please pay attention to the calendar at the bottom of this page (if you are viewing on a phone, please click "View Web Version" Link to see calendar). Most days are sketched out thru October at this point. If you are not involved with a specific song we are working on, please do not show up for practice as it wouldn't be worth your time. Also, please make certain to double check the end times, as they will change based on our needs.

3. Parents, please know that if practice ends at 3:30, we will release at 3:30 (3:35 at the latest) I do not like keeping students over the scheduled time as I know that families have schedules to keep and I don't like sitting in parking lots when my personal child has practices, so know that practices will end when they are supposed to (with NEVER going more than 5 minutes over)

4. When we are here for practices, you may have a large chunk of time where you won't be needed. Use your time wisely and practice your part (no matter how small) so that we (the Directors) can accomplish what we are working on, and also, you will be better prepared for your part.

5. Costume information will be coming shortly. We want all ELVES to look very similar, but New Yorkers will need to look very different from one another. Read thru your characters part and try to make note of how many outfits you will need for your part.

6. Ellie Osterholt will be the student director for the stage blocking and choreography for this show. If she asks you to do something, please just do it without issue as she won't be asking you to do anything I wouldn't ask you.

As always, if you have any questions, please e-mail me at waibelp@triadk12.org
